Come meet Mac and Daisy and win lots of prizes

To celebrate the re-release of HAVING IT ALL, Decadent Publishing is throwing a big party for me. Mac Fontana may not be a cowboy himself, but he’s become a huge star writing and singing  about them. Come meet Mac and Daisy and a host of other authors at the big party for them.

Ten years ago Mac Fontana walked away from Daisy Giles to chase success. Left her with a broken heart. Now each has a failed marriage behind them but both have risen to the top in their chosen fields-Daisy as an event planner and Mac as the hottest country singer on the planet. Her Mr.Fix-It brother has arranged for her to plan a major event for Mac. Determined to be aloo0f and professional, she is unprepared for the heat that always simmered between them to explode in a conflagration of epic proportions. She has one night to hold onto her pride. He has one night to convince her they belong together. Will she understand the song he wrote for her put his heart on the table or will her fear make her walk away?

Before Daisy could say a word, the doors closed and the car rose soundlessly. She wasn’t sure if she wanted it to hurry or take forever. While she was agonizing time ran out and the smooth glide upward ended. With another swoosh the doors opened to the penthouse foyer, and Mac Fontana stood waiting for her.

Sex personified, that’s all she could think. Age had been far too kind to him. The boyish frame had filled out, and a navy silk shirt and soft jeans showed off the well-defined muscles and broad shoulders that tapered to a narrow waist. Legs that went on forever ended in custom-tooled navy leather boots.

The smooth, boyish face she remembered was now a mature landscape, square-jawed with sharp planes and angles. Stamped by the passage of time. Tiny lines framed the full lips and bracketed the silver eyes watching her from under thick lashes. His black hair was still shoulder length, only now it sported a hundred-dollar trim and was artfully layered.

His presence, the overwhelming maleness of him, the raw power that made him so successful on stage, made her dizzy, and for a moment she felt light-headed.

“Hello, darlin’.”

That honeyed voice had deepened and had a richness that came only with age and experience. It sent shivers skittering along her spine and made every pulse in her body thump so loudly she was sure he could hear them. And she knew without a doubt that despite all the anger and aguish, ten years and a mistake of a marriage, she was and always would be desperately in love with Mac Fontana.

Great. Just great. She knew this was a bad idea. For a fleeting moment she was gripped by a desire to turn and flee, to get as far away from this man as possible. Clinging to her anger was better than dealing with the mixture of emotions swirling through her.

She swallowed, a difficult task with a mouth as dry as the desert. “Hello, Mac.”

He took her hand and slivers of heat traveled up her arm and shot through her body. “Thank you for coming, Daisy. Please come in.”

I hate him. I still hate him. I just need to keep remembering that.

She let him lead her into the suite’s huge step-down living room. Off to the right was the dining room and beyond carved double doors what she was sure was the master bedroom. Her eyes widened at the sight of every surface covered with vases holding huge arrangements of daisies.

“A little too much, huh?”

Was that a tremor in his voice? Uncertainty from the great Mac Fontana?

Don’t go there, Daisy. It’s just another part of the trap.

Her heart bumped her ribs. “They’re lovely, Mac. You didn’t have to get quite so many, though.”

He shoved his hands in his pockets. “I decided to go for too much rather than too little.”

She looked around, glancing into the dining room. “I thought we were having dinner? Or was that just an excuse to get me up here?” She couldn’t help the bitterness that crept into her voice.

The anger roared to the forefront again. Did he think she was just going to fall into bed with him after all these years? She’d given him the ultimate in trust and he’d trampled on it like an elephant. Left her heart open and bleeding. That wasn’t something easily forgotten.

Mac shook his head. “This isn’t a scam, Daisy, if that’s what you’re thinking. They’ll bring dinner up as soon as I call. I thought maybe we could have a drink first. Kind of ease into things.”

“Ease into what? Jimmy said you wanted to hire me to plan an event. How much easing does that take?”

“As I do. And we’ll get to it. But all in good time.”

She tried to tug her hand away from his but his grip was firm. Not hard, just…solid. And damn it, his familiar scent wrapped itself around her. Her body, reacting like Pavlov’s dog, responded to the nearness of him, nipples hardening, pussy gushing, muscles clenching.

Here’s a taste of the story:

Mary McCoy wanted more than a break from her high pressure job. She wanted to find a hot motorcycle man like the one on the poster in her office. Part of her break from work was finding him. Little did she know that when she took a temp job as a bartender at Pat’s Irish Pub he’d walk in the door and take her breath away.

Marcus Tyree had left his soul on the war-torn battlefields of the Middle East. Still plagued by nightmares, he takes a job with his friend Grey Holden’s Omega Team agency, searching for drug dealers in the pub, a most unlikely place. And focused on the bartender, a most unlikely person.

The moment he slides into a stool at the bar, the sparks between them are so vivid they could light up Baltimore’s waterfront. And the motorcycle ride he takes her on is front and center in her erotic dreams. For both of them this is supposed to be just one wild ride, but life has other plans for them. Until his assignment shatters her belief in him and their happy ending seems to be sliding into a black hole.

The duo had just finished “Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton when the bell over the door rang. Mary looked up as she handed two black and tans across the bar and nearly dropped the glasses. If she didn’t know better, she’d have thought the model from her motorcycle jackets poster had just walked through the door. Big was the first thing she thought. Then sexy. Then wow! Just wow! A very brief vision flashed in her brain of herself laid out on his motorcycle seat as he pounded into her whiles sucking her nipples.

Holy mother!

She had wished for the poster to come to life, and here, in the flesh, was the image of the guy she lusted. She figured him for well over six feet, with streaky dark-blond hair just to his collar. His T-shirt and jeans were molded to a figure that screamed sculpted muscles, and his feet were shoved into worn biker boots. She knew two things right off the bat—she was seized by an insane desire to strip off all his clothes and run her hands over every inch of his body, and he’d never been here before. He looked around, obviously searching for a place to sit down.

“Mary, are you frozen in place like a statue, darlin’?” Tristan’s rich voice pierced her state of insanity.

“Oh.” She blinked. “Oh! Sorry, Tris. I was just, um, checking the crowd to make sure everyone’s taken care of.”

He laughed and shook his head. “Don’t try to kid a kidder. Just try not to drool in the customers’ glasses.”

She actually felt herself blush. She, Mary McCoy, high-powered public relations expert and temporary barmaid, wasn’t ever given to blushing.

“Not drooling,” she muttered, but she had to ask the waitress to repeat the order she’d just given her.

Ignoring Tris’s low laugh, she moved up and down the bar filling orders, pulling taps, mixing drinks, opening bottles, refilling the bowls of nuts. But all the time, she was acutely conscious of Mr. Motorcycle. He had managed to make his way to the end of the bar and squeeze into a standup spot. She raked her gaze over him head to toe, drinking in all those muscles again, and damn! Was that a bulge she saw at his fly? Was his package so big that even at rest it was there?

Somehow, she managed to yank her gaze upward again and smile at him.

“Welcome to Pat’s Irish Pub. What can I get for you?”

“I don’t suppose you’d be Pat, would you?”

His voice was low and husky, his beautiful lips tilted up in a half smile. He had eyes the most incredible blue, ringed with lashes so thick it was a shame to waste them on a man. A square jaw and high cheekbones gave his face a raw masculine look, but those eyes and those lips told her there was a softer side to this man, too.

“I didn’t think that was such a difficult question.” She realized he was smiling at her. “Shall I ask it again?”

Unconditional Surrender Book #1

They are a four-man Delta Force Reconnaissance/Sniper team whose assignments target key terrorists and eliminate them. They have just returned from three back-to-back missions, physically and emotionally exhausted and definitely in need of some really good R&R. With two weeks before they need to report back they decide to regroup at the ranch in Texas owned by one of the team members, Slade Donovan. They can spend the time drinking, hunting, riding horses and just chilling out.

But the men of this team have something else in common, too. They are all getting older, now in their late thirties, and they want something more than a temporary fix for loneliness. They want to find the right woman and settle down with her so they each have someone waiting for them when they’re home between missions.

Had he found her again only to lose her to a stalker?

Slade Donovan and Kari Malone shared one anonymous night of hot sex. Five years later unexpected circumstances throw them together again and what’s between them burns hotter than ever. But as a member of Delta Force, Slade is wary of relationships, drawn to Kari on the one hand and hesitant on the other.

Kari has her own demons, the stalker she moved to escape who seems to track her everywhere. As the unknown stalker ramps up his game, it will take the Delta Force team to rescue her, and the danger to show them both that what they have is electric, erotic and real.

“I see you haven’t changed your drink preference since I last saw you, Mandy Wheeler Baker. Or whatever your name is.”
She nearly choked on her drink, her hand shaking so she almost dropped the glass. A few drops spilled over the edge. A lean, tanned hand took her drink, wiped the glass and her hand with some bar napkins and handed the glass back to her.
She stared at him, a face she’d dreamed about for so many nights yet never expected to see again. One that obliterated the faces of other men she’d met since then. “Uh, yes, it’s me.”
“And I’m guessing your name’s not Mandy Baker Wheeler.”
The lopsided grin he gave her sent heat rushing through her.
“I, um, I mean…” God, she sounded like a blithering idiot.
“Maybe we should sit down.” He paused. “Outside.”
He took her free hand, his fingers burning themselves into her skin, and towed her easily through the crowd, through the open sliding doors out to a patio adorned with appropriate furniture. She went with him, unresisting, still shocked to see him here, of all places, and after all this time. When they reached an umbrella table set in one corner, he pulled out a chair and gestured for her to sit. Her legs were shaking so much she collapsed into it. Her heart raced and she had trouble catching her breath. He was here! She wanted to pinch herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. Her nipples tingled as she remembered the hot wet feel of his mouth on them, and the walls of her sex clenched with immediate need. She knew her panties were soaked, for sure.
And then he was sitting across from her in the other chair in all his masculine awesomeness. She stared at him, at the hazel eyes that looked as if he wanted to devour her and the thick dark brown hair she wanted to run her fingers through. His face, as hard and sculpted as she remembered, showed slight signs of having aged—deeper lines at the eyes and the corners of his mouth—but was otherwise still the same one that haunted her dreams.
She wet her lips. “I… You… That is…” Her tongue wanted to stick to the roof of her mouth and her brain had become nonfunctional.
“Yeah. Me too.” He grinned.

It’s Susan Stoker Day.

Not only is she a good friend but a fabulous author. Leave me a comment below and you could win a Susan stoker tote and a signed copy of Rescuing Rayne

Here are just a few of her books that you have to check out. I give them all 5 stars. These are just 3 of my favorites. Be sure to check out all her books here:

Marrying Emily

Few people know better than Delta Force soldiers that life is unbearably short and achingly precious. So Cormac Fletcher isn’t waiting one more day to marry the love of his life, Emily. Fletch has already adopted her daughter, Annie. Now it’s time to officially make Emily his too.
Emily understands just about every woman experiences a few wedding snafus—but they’re usually not of the harrowing, life-or-death variety. Fortunately for her, a guest list full of Delta soldiers and SEALs will make this an event to remember—for both Emily and the uninvited guests trying to ruin her special day.

Rescuing Rayne

As a flight attendant, Rayne Jackson is used to cancellations, but she never dreamed her latest would lead to a whirlwind tour of London with a handsome stranger…or a life-altering night in his bed. One evening is all the enigmatic man can give her, and Rayne greedily takes it, despite suspecting it will never be enough.
Heading home after another extreme mission, Keane “Ghost” Bryson hadn’t planned to seduce someone during his layover, but Rayne is too sweet to resist. Being a Delta Force member means lying to protect his identity, which is unfortunate, considering Rayne seems made for Ghost, right down to the tattoo on her back. For the first time in his life, regret fills him as he slips away the following morning.
Both are shocked when, months later, they meet again—under the worst possible circumstances. Seems fate has given them a second chance…if they can survive the terrorist situation they’re in. If Rayne can forgive Ghost his lies. And if Ghost can trust Rayne to be strong enough to endure the secrets and uncertainty that come with loving a Delta Force soldier.

** Rescuing Rayne is the 1st book in the Delta Force Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

Rescuing Harley

Video game coder, Harley Kelso, thought a tandem skydive would help her make her latest game more realistic. Instead, it literally put her in the arms of the sexiest man she’s ever seen. Geeky to the core, Harley is the polar opposite of big and burly Beckett, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to play more carnal games with the sexy soldier.
When Beckett “Coach” Ralston offers to fill-in at a friend’s skydiving club, he doesn’t suspect he’ll meet a woman who will change his life—and he definitely doesn’t expect her to save it. But that’s exactly what happens when an accident mid-air forces Harley to land them both safely. She’s earned Coach’s complete gratitude, and even more, sexual interest…
Until she disappears without a trace.
With Harley missing, a happy ending might not be in the cards for the man who loves her—especially when he becomes the main suspect.

** Rescuing Harley is the 3rd book in the Delta Force Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.
